We have moved!!

Well we are finally back to the land of highspeed internet. When we moved to the country back in May we were not able to get it...this was very painful for the kids as well as mom and dad! It's amazing how we rely on the internet for so much these days and when you don't have it, it really stinks! We decided to buy a house in the same town we lived in. When we sold our home back in May we thought we might move to a larger city but when reality hit we realized Scott's job would change alot for the worse and I would be giving up a really good job here we decided that for the time being we had better stay put. Over the summer we were trying to buy a piece of land to build on but that didn't work out so we bought a house smaller then we would have liked but that is a better fit for our family. We have 3 bed rooms on the main floor and 2 in the basement as well as a full bathroom and family room downstairs. Kyle is happy about this as it gives him some privacy and time away from his little sisters who he says "bug" him..lol. I guess he is almost 15. Living in the country was a good experience for our family but it's good to be back in town. Alot less running for work, sports, school etc. and alot less teasing (I hope) and the girls each have their own rooms in this house. This is different and we shall see if they actually sleep in their own rooms or decide to bunk together. So to all our friends who were hoping we would be moving a little further West I am really sorry..we would have loved to live closer to you all and who knows, maybe in a few years things will be different and a move will happen...I am not totally writing it off. We figure with Kyle being in grade 9 this year, he will graduate from grade 12 the same year Kira will start grade 9 so a move then could be okay. Never say never:) Anyway, I thought I would give little update on our family..I had better get back to unpacking boxes and trying to organize things..something I am not very good at:( I am not sure if anyone even keeps up with our blog anymore but if you do stop in and leave us a comment..we have missed hearing from you and following along on your blogs so look out, I am back:)

Miley Concert ~ Minneapolis MN

Kira and her BFF Kailyn at the concert of their dreams...lol Kira kept telling me through the night that her dreams had come true. She loved it. Miley could have worn a little more material but overall it was a fun time spending this evening with special friends. Happy 10th birthday sweet girl..we love you very much!!

and we will be heading to Minn@apolis to "Party in the UsA" with M*i*l*e*y C*y*r*u*s !!!! Woot..we are super excited both Kira and I. Stay tuned for pictures. :)

On Sept 27th our girl turned 10...we are not sure just how that happened..lol. Kira is a smart, funny, kind, talented little girl with a HUGE heart and we feel so blessed to be her parents. We love you with all our hearts Kira.

What a fun weekend we had. The kids caught alot of candy at the parade of boats, the entertainment was awesome and watching all the fish being weighed in was also fun. The kids had a mini tournament and Emma came in third. Way to go Emma!!!

It's always so sad to say goodbye to Nanny. We drove her to the trainstation and then met friends for lunch. It was awesome seeing Jo-Anne, Jeremi and Cassia again as well as a few new friends.

4 Years Ago Today<3

It's hard to believe 4 years have passed since we received our referral...what an amazing day that was! Emma we love you so much and can't believe how fast the time is going by. You are starting JK in a couple weeks.....how lucky we felt that day and how lucky we feel today that you have come into our lives. Mommy, Daddy, Kyle and Kira are so proud of you...follow your dreams sweet girl. We love you!! xoxo
